I'm a finance executive with more than 20 years of experience leading accounting and regulatory reporting for financial institutions ranging from $1 billion to $18 billion+ in assets. I currently serve as VP Controller at a $4.8 billion commercial bank, and I've served as CFO for credit unions through periods of major strategic change.

What I do

My work centers on the financial infrastructure that boards, regulators, and auditors rely on: GAAP compliance, asset-liability management, stress testing (DFAST), regulatory reporting, and board-level financial communication. I've spent my career in banks and credit unions, and I know both worlds — the commercial side and the cooperative side — from the inside.

The tagline on this site — finding operational solutions for today's problems — is how I approach the job. Financial reporting isn't just producing numbers; it's building processes and teams that make those numbers trustworthy, repeatable, and useful for the people making decisions with them. I pair traditional finance discipline with modern tooling, including data analytics and AI.
